Black Point is located half way between Ardrossan and Port Vincent, and is about two hours drive from Adelaide. Black Point beach is the only beach on the eastern side of Yorke Peninsula that runs east - west. The bay is well protected from the prevailing winds from the south, providing a perfect spot for boating, fishing, swimming, windsurfing and diving. It is a safe beach for children of all ages to play.
Good shopping facilities are available in Ardrossan with the Pine Point General Store providing your day to day needs. Pine Point is only a few minutes drive away.

Things to do at Black Point
Walking Trails
There is a Black Point walking trail through the Maxine Hawke Park.
Yorke Peninsula has many bush walks, cliff top, shoreline rambles, unique geology trails, a wonderful array of bird life, history and heritage.

Fishing
Black Point provides an all weather boat ramp. If you do not have a boat plenty of fish can be caught from the beach. Crabs are also available in season.
Snorkel and Dive Locations
The Black Point reef provides an interesting snorkeling experience.
There are many snorkel and dive locations, including many old shipwrecks, within easy reach of Black Point. Air tank refills are available at many locations around Yorke Peninsula.
Tennis
The Tennis courts at Pine Point are available for hire through the Pine Point General Store.
